奨学生の生い立ち紹介
ライアン
Mark Rryan Abad （ライアンと呼んでいます） は、Asian College of Technology で学ぶ 17 歳の少年です。現在高校12年生です。
何年も前に彼に会いましたが、彼が責任感のある人間として、勤勉な学生として、そして兄弟を思いやる兄として成長していることがよくわかりました。家族6人兄弟で、全員が学校に通っています。
サント・ニーニョ教会周辺で土産物を売っていました。背が低く痩せた少年だったけど、炎天下で重いマグネットボードを両親や兄弟と一緒に担いでいました。大変だったでしょう。しかし、彼らの表情に疲れは感じられませんでした。楽しくさえあるようでした。
ライアンは学期末に表彰されることもある優等生です。いつか自分の夢を実現し、家族とともに豊かな生活を送れるようになると信じています。
貧困は成功の妨げにはなりませんから。

Mark Rryan Abad or Ryan is a 17 year old boy studying in Asian College of Technology. He is Grade 12 now.
I met him long years ago and I could clearly see how he grew as a responsible person, hardworking student and a caring brother to his siblings. He has 6 siblings and everyone is going to school.
He used to sell souvenirs around Sto. Nino church. He was a short and thin boy but carrying the heavy magnet board under the heat of the sun with his parents and siblings. It must be tough, however, I couldn't see any tiredness in their faces. They loved what they're doing.
He is a consistent honor student in his school years that means he often get an award at end of the term.
I am certain that he will reach all her dreams someday and will be able to leave a nore comfortable life with his family. Indeed, poverty is not a hindrance to success!
