皆さんこんにちは！ピーターです。 コロナ禍での僕の生活は、朝５時に起きて水を汲みに行くことから始まります。たまに家の近くのジムにバスケットやバレーボールをしに行きます。 今は毎週月曜日、水曜日、金曜日に、学校から配布されたプリントで、自宅で勉強をしています。僕のお姉ちゃんが勉強を手伝ってくれます。そして奨学生のシーラも忙しくない時は僕の勉強を手伝ってくれます。毎週日曜日はEMSのサンデーアクティビティーに参加します。いつも楽しく参加しています。アクティビティーでは、マム・アベット、マム・クラベル、アイラ先生(EMS奨学生)、他の奨学生、そして日本からの参加者の方たちを見ることができます。オンラインでのアクティビティーですが、それでも僕はたくさんのことを学べています。EMSの一員となれて私は嬉しいです。皆さんありがとうございます！
Hello everyone! I am Peter R. Oila. My life during this pandemic time is that I usually wake at 5am in the morning to fetch water. I sometimes go to the gym near our place to play basketball or volleyball. I study at home using the printed materials and I answer them every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. My sister helps me and teaches me in answering my modules. Sometimes ate Sheila helps me if she is not busy. Every Sunday, I attend the EMS activity. I enjoy attending it. I can see Ma'am Abeth, Ma'am Clavel, teacher Aila, some Japanese visitors and the scholars. I learned a lot even though we see each other in Zoom meeting. I participate the activity that is given to us. I am thankful that I am part of this organization. Thank You!

コロナが始まってから私の生活は大変です。 今は外に行って買い物をすることが出来ますが、それでもやっぱり自粛が推奨されています。私のお母さんは家計を支えるためにこの家で物を売っています。お父さんは人に仕事を勧められら仕事をしています。通勤費を節約するために、お父さんは職場で寝泊まりをしています。お母さんと同じで、お父さんも毎週私達にお金を送ってくれます。 EMSのサポートのお陰で、両親には買う余裕のない、私の学用品を買うことができます。勉強に関して、今は配布されたプリントで自宅で勉強をしています。私のお母さんが毎週学校に行き、プリントをもらってきてくれます。でも先生と話すことができないので、プリントで勉強するのはたまに難しいです。でもマム・クラベルは私が必要は時はいつも助けてくれて、とても感謝しています。 私が兄弟の宿題を助けることあります。最初は兄弟に教えるのに苦労しましたが、今は慣れてきました。特に最近幼稚園に通い始めた5歳の妹は、とても怠け者で勉強をしないので大変です。何度か我慢ならないこともありましたが、今は自分を強く持って、彼女に粘り強く教えています。自分の時間を誰かのために使うことによって、どんなついていない日でも、幸せな気持ちになります。家族の為に時間を使うこと、友達の為に時間を使うこと、皆さんの為に時間を使うこと、そして神様の為に時間を使うこと。
My life had been hard since this pandemic started. At least now I can go out to buy some goods but still it’s better to stay at home. About my family, my mother is selling here in our house just a small business for us to sustain our everyday needs while my father is working also, someone recommended him a work. He is staying in his workplace to save money from commuting. Same as with my mother he gave us money every week to buy our needs. Thanks to this organization I can buy what I need for studying that my parents can't afford. About my studies, I am studying using the printed materials. My mother goes to school every week to get the learning materials. In answering, I find it hard sometimes. It’s hard to communicate to the teachers but thanks to Maam Clavel. She is always there when I ask about what I don't understand. Moreover, when I’m studying I also help my sibling with their modules. It's really hard at first but I manage my time. Especially my little sister, is 5yrs.old who's now a preschool is too lazy to study. I lost my patience sometimes but I have to be strong for them to learn. Speaking of learnings, I learn that invest your time in someone that makes you feel appreciated even at you worst day. For example to your family, friends, to you all and to God.

コロナ禍でも、私は元気にやっています。なぜなら神様がいつも私の中にいるからです。私は家族みんなが健康でとても幸せです。父が仕事に復帰したので、食べ物も必要なものも今はあります。この大変な状況を乗り切る為に、私たちは頑張っています。神様は私達を助けてくれます。私は勉強の方もしっかりやっています。この大変な状況を早く終わらせる為に、一生懸命勉強しています。自宅で配布されたプリントで勉強をする時は、少し疲れます。なぜなら問題の一部を理解できないからです。なので私は問題を理解するために、スマートフォンとインターネットでGoogleを使います。 今のところ、私達は元気にやっています。いつもご支援ありがとうございます。
My situation during the Covid 19 pandemic, I am fine because God is always here in my side. We are still happy for being healthy, and joyful family. We are fine the foods and things or what we need, because my father has already came back on his job. We do our best to fight this hard situation. We always call the Lord God to help us. All about of my studies, I am doing fine, I continue what I had on this season. I do my best and study hard to finish this hard situation. Every time I do the modules in our house, I feel tired because of the lesson some of this I can’t understand. That’s why I need my phone and internet to access the Google and to fix the hard lesson. So far, we are all doing well and of course thank you so much for your support.

コロナウィルスは学生としての私に、そして私の生活に大きな変化をもたらしました。コミュニケーションとテクノロジーの変化に適応するのは大変でした。多くのことが急速に変化しています。 勉強では、集中して生産的になれるように頑張っています。なぜならたまに集中できない時があるからです。今は10年生なので、高校生になれるように頑張らなければいけない時です。どの科目を選ぶか決めなければなりませんが、私はABM(会計とビジネスマネジメント)のセブ大学のオンラインクラスを選択し、登録しました。私達家族は皆元気にやっています。私は私の夢へもう一歩のところにきています。
As a student, at first it was a huge adjustment for me, as well as for my lifestyle. It was hard coping up with the changes of communication and technology. A lot of things have been going on and everything is in fast-forward. As of now, I am still trying to be productive each day with my studies. Because there are times that I don't have the motivation to do my school works. And I am now a grade 10 student so it is important to pass all my outputs for me to move up to Senior High. I have to decide what strand I'm going to take and I chose ABM (Accountancy, Business and Management). I signed up and enrolled online in this strand in University of Cebu. We are all doing great so far with my family. I am now close to reach my dreams. .

コロナ禍でも私は元気にやっています。三食食べることができ、たまに後で食べる用に食べ物を保存しておくこともあります。今はマゼラン・クロスにあるサントニーニョ教会でフェイスシールドとキャンドルを売っています。そしてそれを売ったあと、家で学校から配布されたプリント課題に取り組みます。 勉強もしっかりしています。学校から与えられている課題をすでに全て終わらすことができ、私はとても嬉しいです。私の姉妹、いとこ、姪っ子、そして自分のプリントは私が学校まで取りにいきます。そして彼らの宿題を私が手伝うこともあります。 今は学校の先生から、次の新たなプリントがあるか、またはしばらくの間はないかの指示を待っています。 いつも、特にこのコロナ禍において、私達を支援していただき、ありがとうございます。
My life during Covid was fine because I can eat three times a day and sometimes I save my food to eat later. I am selling face shields and candle in Santo Nino Church near from Magellan Cross and after selling I answer my modules. My studies are all good because I already finished answering all my modules and I am so happy of that. Sometimes I get modules in the school for my sister, nephews and nieces and I sometimes I help them answering their modules. For now, I am waiting for the next announcement from our teacher if we still have new modules or we will wait for the vacation. Thank you also for always helping us especially in this pandemic time.

このコロナ禍では、外出することが出来ないため、私はずっと家にいました。家の中では妹と遊び、学校から配布されたプリント課題に取り組んでいました。家族と一緒にテレビ番組を観ることもします。 外には警察官が巡回しているため、本当に外出することが出来ません。外にはコロナウィルスがあるため、外出するのは危ないと思います。 もうじき６年生を卒業し、次の学期には高校生になります。 いつもご支援いただき、ありがとうございます。
During this Covid19 in Cebu, I just stay at home because I am not allowed to go out. I only play with my sister and answer my modules. I also watch some TV programs with my family. We can’t stay even just outside because there are some police officers. It is dangerous to stay outside because of Corona. I am graduating now in Grade 6 and I will be in high school next school year. Thank you so much for always helping me.

I am fine. I always study my modules at home. We are always fine. We are just thankful that we are far from any harm. We always take care of ourselves because we know that there is Covid. Thank you so much for supporting me.
私は元気です。いつも家で学校から配布されたプリント課題で勉強をしています。私達はいつも元気で、今まで何もなかったことに本当に感謝しています。今はコロナウィルスがあるので健康には特に気をつけています。 私を支援してくれてありがとうございます。

My situation here in Cebu is not really good because we can't go out here in our house because of this Covid 19 pandemic/ Corona Virus. And we can't learn very well because we don’t really know all the lessons in our modules. We hope that all will be fine or will be normal again to meet all of you and to learn very well in face to face classes and to be a successful in the future and to help a other children who need a help. In God’s name he will save us from this Covid pandemic, we will all be okay.
私のコロナ禍での状況はあまり良くありません。なぜならこのウィルスのせいで外出することが出来ないからです。そして今は自宅で勉強することを余儀なくされているので、分からない部分も多くあり、多くを学べているとは思えません。 このコロナウィルスが早く収束し、再びいつもの日常に戻り、みなさまに会えること、将来の成功の為に面と向かっての授業でより効果的に勉強できること、そして助けが必要な多くの子供達に支援の手が差し伸べられることを望んでいます。 神様の名のもとに、私たちはみな救われ、大丈夫になることと思います。
