奨学生の状況報告

台風の直後は大変でした、まず水がない、そしてパニック買いの影響で食料が無くなってしまったからです。
そして停電が続き食料を買う代わりにロウソクを買わざるを得なかったのです。 EMSの支援のおかげで台風で壊れた壁や屋根を修復することができました。
また日々必要な品物を買いそろえることができました。電気はもどりましたがインターネットの状況はいまも悪いです。
１月はネット環境が悪かったために学校の課題を提出することができず苦労しました。
先生やクラスメートたちとのコミュニケーションにも苦労しました。今もまだ完全ではありませんが、なんとか課題を送ることができ先生たちともオンラインで交流することができます。
勉強は頑張っています。成績も落ちないように努力しています！
After the Typhoon Odette came, we faced a lot of struggles. The first one is we don't have enough supply of water. It is very difficult to have supply of water due to the water interruption. The second one is we can't buy enough foods to eat due to panic buying. Many people buy large amount of foods and because of that, we can only buy small amount of foods. The third one is the electricity. Because of the interruption in the electricity, we had to buy a lot of candles. It's very difficult also because the money that we can use to buy some foods, we used to buy candles and flashlights instead. Although we faced a lot of struggles due to the Typhoon Odette, we are now in the better situation because of EMS. They helped us to recover from what we experienced last December. We was able to fixed the wall and our roof that were damaged. We was able also to buy our daily needs because of them. Luckily last January, we have not experienced interruption in the electricity anymore. The VECO was able to fixed the problem in our electricity. But until now, we're facing the problem in the internet connection. We are in the stable situation right now. Last January, I was very loaded with the activities in our school. I was having a difficulty to submit all my pending activities due to the interruption in internet connection. I was having a difficulty also to communicate with my teachers and classmates. I need to go to other places just to have a stable network. But now, I was able to submit all my activities before the deadline. Although the internet connection or the network is not stable yet and sometimes it is very hard to submit, but it is enough just to pass all my activities. I was able also to communicate with my teachers, classmates and attend some online meeting in school. I always study hard even though there are many problems. I hope that I can maintain my grades in the previous quarter. That's all the update about my life.

私たちがまだ小さなときには学校が終わって宿題をして友達と遊び午後の１時ぐらいから昼寝をしていました。
それは私たちの叔父が子供たちに大きくなってほしいからです。だから私も毎日１時から５時まで寝ていました。
そして、昼寝が終わったらおじいさんがお金をくれて、私がみんなのためにバンを買いに行きました。そのことが懐かしいです。
いまは、本当に行き詰まりを感じています。コロナ感染、ロックダウン、そして大型台風による災害、まるで世界が悪い方向に行っているように感じます。 やっと今私の年齢の子供たちは外出することが許されましたがマスクとフェイスシールドが必要です。
何か祝い事があっても親戚を呼ぶこともできませんでした。 クリスマス前に超大型の台風オデットが各地に大きな被害をだしました。電気の無いクリスマスは楽しくはなかったです。
でも幸いにも私には家族がいます。 １月には友達とも会うことができてうれしかったです。ただ私の成績が落ちたことが親に申し訳なく思っています。
次回は頑張ります。コロナワクチンの第１回目を接種しました。

When I was at my young age I feel free because in school I am not so busy, I'm just playing around with my friends and also I do homeworks, after doing my homeworks, me and my other siblings are gonna sleep because my uncle wants us to sleep at around 1pm in the afternoon. He wants us to be taller than him. And yes I do sleep at exactly 1pm in the afternoon everyday and wakes up at 5pm. After sleeping my grandpa were always buy breads for our snacks and I am the one who will buy the bread then. My life before compared to now, I feel like I wanna go back when I was at my childhood days where I cannot feel so stressed. But then I realized that I could do the things that so easy to handle again , when I want to. My life right now, it was like I wanna end up way here or should I say I want the world will end, because of the circumstances that I encountered. When crisis, lockdowns, storms were arrived. Feeling that the world is getting worse than I thought. Where the governors announcing that people can now go outside but then again we have to follow what the protocols are, and should always wears masks. Many problems happened to my life, and at my age right now can go outside too and I'm so happy and excited but then again I had to wear face mask and face shield. If we have occasions we can celebrate it, but we cannot invite our other relatives knowing that it's still has pandemic around. When Christmas is coming we were so excited upon enjoying the birthday of our Lord and spend time to family and love ones, and also upon receiving gifts. But before Christmas, typhoon Odette has come, we never expect that it would happen. But it happened. After typhoon Odette went to destroy our land, we lost our houses, waters, and electricity. It is really hard to find foods. Also when Odette arrived I was sick, but it healed so fast. Day of Christmas, we can't tell that we're so happy, there is no joyful at all because no electricity. But atleast I have my family with me and we're safe. In new year's eve was my happiest day I enjoyed playing with my friends and spend more time with my family. I just feel sorry from my parents of having a low grades. Will catch up next time. When the day that EMS are there to support us, it makes me feel so lucky, and can still do my very best to promote what I have lost upon getting low grades. Vaccination day, I got my first dose for now, and when I got my 1st dose I go home after. About school, it was fine but the thing is, even I study hard I still don't get the highest grades, I failed my promise. It was my first time to get low grades at school. But I assure that this time I will do my best just to hit the higher grades. I have lots of wishes to come true, if only I can tell what my wishes is, I will do!
